Performance, choreography, ideation and concept

3 ACTIONS 3 DAYS (performing, listening and screening)
Each action revises a modern power dynamic which is fluid, participatory, and collaborative being given away to the active participants as a shared authorship and communal experience.

I was invited to design and choreograph a Performance for the 1st day of the event:
Through the concept of the ‘Mirror Stage’, proposed by Lacan, I created a story that explores themes of creation, self-development, and freedom. According to Lacan, the mirror stage occurs when infants recognize themselves in a mirror or similar symbolic device, triggering apperception— the process of perceiving oneself as an external being. This realization, typically occurring around 18 months of age, marks the awareness of being an individual entity within society. From this point, instincts no longer solely drive actions; instead, the individual becomes conscious of societal norms and the need to participate within them.

The insistic is not, anymore, what moves their actions and intuition.
